Korean Beef

Are you looking for a dinner dish that the whole family will love? This recipe is really easy to make and is super delicious! Doubling or tripling this recipe is easy, and it is great for large crowds. This dish can also be made ahead and reheated. The dishes and clean up afterwards are minimal, so what are you waiting for? Ingredients:

1 tablespoon of sesame oil

1 pound lean ground beef

3 large cloves of garlic, minced

½ cup light brown sugar

¼ cup soy sauce

¼ teaspoon ground ginger

Toasted white sesame seeds to taste

Salt and pepper to taste

½-1 teaspoon crushed red pepper or gochujang (for spicy beef)

Steamed white rice and green onions for topping

In a bowl, combine the brown sugar, soy sauce, ginger, sesame seeds, salt and pepper, and red peppers or gochujang. Set aside

Over a large frying pan, heat sesame oil over medium heat

Cook the beef and garlic in the pan until browned

Turn off heat and drain most of the fat from the pan

Return pan to stove, and simmer in the sauce made in step 1 over low heat

Serve over hot white rice with minced green onions
