This photo was taken by Mariposa Curl during Stray Kids’ Seattle concert in their Dominate World Tour. I, Gemma, was one of 42,000 people in the Seattle Mariners stadium! What I’m holding is called a 낯임붕 (nachimbong), or a lightstick. When the concert starts, everyone’s lightsticks connect to stadium bluetooth, and light up together in different colors!(You can see everyone’s is orange now)The concert and the days before and after were so much fun, and I can’t wait for their next tour!

Gemma is an energetic and outgoing sophomore from Oregon (which is above California). She is the fourth child of six kids, and has fun with all her siblings. Gemma loves learning about different cultures, and especially loves Japan and Korea; Japanese cuisine and entertainment and Korean music are her favorite things. Gemma is learning Korean, and plans to visit Korea for World Youth Day in 2027. When she’s not reading Japanese books or listening to Kpop, she’s probably crocheting something for someone, in the kitchen cooking a new dish, or writing a letter to her numerous global penpals.
