Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, homeschoolers of all ages, the moment you have all been waiting for has finally arrived! The running was intense, the contestants fierce and hilarious, and the competition stiff to see which MODG student could produce the funniest pet.

And now I give you the much coveted MODG Funniest Pet Award. The winner, by a landslide, is – drumroll please – “Lucy on the Planner”, submitted by Miss Bernadette Remus, of the eighth Grade.

Congratulations to Miss Remus, and her hilarious feline with aspirations towards construction work.

There was no dispute on our runners up, who were both submitted by Miss Mary Wick, also of the eighth grade. Coming in the also much-coveted second place is the world famous parakeet, who, upon confrontation by the Pawparazzi, took refuge in a pony tail.

And in third place is an adorable white dog sporting an ironic expression that can only say: “You want me to do what?”
