What Do You Think: Is there anything that might count as a positive in your life that has come about because of this virus?

  • nope…
  • You get closer to your family.
  • We have to cooperate with our families.
  • I get to alternate between working and playing with my kids!
  • One of the few benefits of the Coronavirus is now my family prays the rosary together every night. It also helps us see how much we take the mass and sacraments for granted. And while I don’t like all my events being canceled, it gives me time to breathe!
  • Beaches are a lot emptier here in Hawaii since tourists have to stay home! Yuuuuuussss
  • While being quarantined I’ve spent more time with my family and more time outside. Since we can’t receive the sacraments, our family prayer life, as well as my personal prayer life, has increased. I think it’s just important to have faith and believe that no matter what happens God’s path for us is love and mercy itself.
  • I don’t think that the churches should have closed, but a positive thing about the quarantine is more family time. My older brother and sister have come back from college. Also, life is quieter and more peaceful without any activities.
  • Yes. I think that there are so many benefits from being home with your whole family.
  • I think this is a great opportunity which God has given us to slow down and spend time with our families. This is a hard time in our country and even in our world but I am glad that we are able to spend time with the people who are around us every day. Me and my family just keep praying for everyone that is sick and especially the leaders of our country. We have been saying extra prayers for Donald Trump our President, for he is under great stress. I just hope that this whole thing can blow over soon but for the time being, I have been enjoying the time I have had with my family with out having to worry about other things like dance or having to be somewhere. Just being able to enjoy what God has given us. My prayers go out to all those in need and all those making big decisions in this hard time.
  • While being quarantined I’ve spent more time with my family and more time outside. Since we can’t receive the sacraments, our family prayer life, as well as my personal prayer life, has increased. I think it’s just important to have faith and believe that no matter what happens God’s path for us is love and mercy itself.
  • There are so many less distractions! It is easier to see God working in our lives when we have time to stop and breathe.
  • I think the main thing is that you can stay home with your family.
  • During Quarantine I have been able to focus on myself a lot more since my extracurricular activities have been cancelled and my schedule isn’t so busy! I also love how everyone has kind of slowed down in life and taken a look at the world around us, and realize how much we might take advantage of some of the things in our daily life.
  • Getting so much extra homework done! Getting ahead in all my subjects!
Also getting to spend a little extra time with my siblings. They are always at work and in school, it’s nice just to see them on a regular base.
  • It is an introvert’s dream
  • Yes! I can catch up on school and there’s no distraction except for my family!
  • People have had this time to stay at home with their families, spend quality time with them.
  • Being away from church is teaching us that we can still have a relationship with Christ. This is an opportunity to start a personal relationship with Christ, which happens to be very important !!!! How can you worship, praise, be close, etc…with Christ, if you don’t fully know Him? While being away from church my family has been praying the rosary everyday…( well trying ), which is the strongest weapon. I encourage you all to pray the rosary and join my family to help with the end of this virus!
  • Having a slower schedule has led me to focus more on things that I often overlook. I’ve spent more time with my family as well as more time praying and reading. I’ve finally had time to catch up on things I’ve been meaning to do, but just never seemed to have time for. It’s caused me to be more appreciative of the outdoors and also to slow down and ponder more instead of always being in a rush.
  • I’m always going going going, never home weeknights, or weekends. This virus has helped me relax, de-stress, and value the things that I do have, as well as spend more time with my family.
  •  Because of this virus I can’t go to mass, see my friends, and do the things I want. Because of that I realized how much I miss those things and how important they are in my life. You don’t realize what you truly have until its gone. Because I can’t go to mass this is a great time for me to grow closer to God in a different way instead of mass, and to be grateful for the friendships I have and the many blessings that I have in my life.
  • I would be struggling with my coursework right now if I hadn’t gotten an extra week of spring break to work ahead.
  • My family started saying daily rosary this week, and even though mass is canceled, prayer is not. All of our friends support us and pray for us. COVID-19 is really bringing us closer. I’ve also been able to workout more for the next swim season. I don’t have a single excuse now not to.
