Weather

Weather is currently expected to be a high of 70ºF with periods of sun. There is a 30% chance of light rain the day of the graduation. We will update the weather here as the date approaches.

Clothing

Casual outfits are acceptable for Friday activities and the reception after the graduation.

Appropriate formal attire should be worn for the baccalaureate Mass and commencement ceremony. Graduation robes and caps will be provided.

For girls, note that the robe reaches mid-calf and floor length dresses will be visible.

In the Area

Beaches

There are many beautiful beaches in the area, so don’t miss out! A few beaches to start you out: San Buenaventura State Beach, Rincon Beach, Harbor Cove Beach

Hikes

California is full of beautiful hikes! Right off the Thomas Aquinas College Campus is the Punchbowl hike. Or, head down to the Ventura River Preserve in Ojai and enjoy one of the many hikes there. Take a drive to Santa Barbara and explore one of the botanical garden walks.

Family Activities

The whole family can come on one of these California outings! A few destinations you should add to your list: the San Buenaventura Mission, the Santa Barbara Mission, the Reagan Library, the Griffith Observatory, the MOXI Museum
