Donald Trump has won the first three primaries in Iowa, New Hampshire and Nevada. The next primary will be in South Carolina in February. The New Hampshire Primary took place on January 23, 2024, in which former President Donald Trump won the Republican Primary against Nikki Haley.
Ron DeSantis, Florida Governor and former United States Congressman, dropped out of the Presidential campaign on January 21, 2024, ahead of the New Hampshire Primary on January 23, 2024. In his video announcing the end of his campaign, DeSantis states, “It’s clear to me that a majority of Republican primary voters want to give Donald Trump another chance.” DeSantis lost the Iowa Primary to former President Donald Trump on January 15, 2024. Governor DeSantis endorses Donald Trump against Nikki Haley, who is the only other runner for the Republican nomination.
