There is nothing like going to a ski resort with your family on a school day! A MODG homeschool family recently put aside their work and took the opportunity to go to their local ski resort. The dad of the students volunteers for the National Ski Patrol at Afton Alps Ski Resort in Minnesota, just eleven miles from their home. In exchange for his service, the family gets free passes to the ski resort. On the day of this video last week, with temperatures at 20 degrees and the winds at 15 mph, they received a foot of fresh snow. Books were closed and the family drove through a snow storm to the ski resort. Watch the short video to see the fun.
