February Photography Contest: Optical Illusions

The theme of the contest is optical illusions

Prompt: The aim of this contest is to take photos which cause the viewer to take a closer look at the photo or to question what they think they see. It is to make the photo something which appears to be out of the ordinary and not fitting to reality. This could be done by holding something close to the camera, giving the impression of a giant object or using mirrors and playing with the reflection. This contest doesn’t require any editing or fancy cameras; it’s all about the angle and a creative mind.

How it works: The contestant may submit two photographs to the contest. When submitting, please state your age and grade and what device or camera you took it on. The judges will have decided the winning photos 5-10 days after the deadline.

Rules: Slight editing of color and light and cropping the image are all allowed, but please no drastic editing. This challenge is designed for those to show their photography talent and branch out into areas of photography that they wouldn’t normally explore.

DEADLINE IS March 22nd.
