A national event, the March for Life has been held every year on January 22, the anniversary of the decision (Roe v. Wade) that has led to the death of more than 54 million children. This year, due to the presidential inauguration, the march will take place on January 27.
From humble beginnings of 20,000 marchers in 1974, to more than 650,000 in 2013, Americans gather to peacefully protest abortion.  Last year, many Mother of Divine Grace students and families attended the March for Life.  Despite winter storm Jonas, an estimated crowd of 40,000 gathered on the National Mall.
